Originally from Clifton Park N.Y., David J. Roy has focused his career on several aspects of the service-oriented business. After receiving his BA in Computer Sciences and Business Administration at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, he earned his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, with a major in Marketing and Human Resource Development. David moved to Naples, Florida, in 1989 and began a publishing business, as well as, buying and selling real estate. He founded The Dining & Doing Guide which published an annual lifestyle guide for Naples, and, as the company grew, adding guides for Tin City, 5th Avenue, Fort Myers Beach and Downtown Fort Myers – he sold the publications in 2001. David also operated and was part-owner of Bon Card, Inc., which fabricated and distributed free postcards in wall displays at various businesses around the area. The company also designed and produced custom postcards for companies and individuals – this company is still active but David is not actively engaged with the management.
David also began a marketing consulting career in Naples, working with companies to promote and market their businesses. His services included analyzing all aspects of each client’s business operations – budgets, advertising, human resources, infrastructure, etc
David is now fully committed and engaged in the real estate market and is a full time real estate professional – he knows the market extremely well and will be an asset in your property search. David is also active in the residential development market and has formed Worldwin Developments LLC with partner Winfield Sifton.
David and Marine have three boys and are active in the Naples community. David has been involved with the Naples Chamber of Commerce, Urban Development Task Force, Visitors’ Development Council, Kiwanis Club of Naples, Easter Seals and other volunteer activities. The Roy’s are members of the North Naples United Methodist Church.
