Amanda Carey was born and raised in the United Kingdom and met her American husband, Bill in JFK airport whilst visiting NY for a university project. She made her first visit to Naples, Bill’s hometown, in 1988. They visited every year until they made Naples their permanent, full-time home in 2003. Amanda and Bill purchased their residence as well as 3 vacation rental investments near Barefoot Beach. It was through this activity that Amanda found her calling to be a Realtor.
Amanda worked as a fashion buyer in London for top retailers Marks and Spencers and the Ladybird clothing brand for 17 years. Responsible for delivering a $100,000,000 annual budget, through understanding the customer and delivering the goods on time. In 2000 Amanda took the position of Merchandise Manager in the Hong Kong office setting up business relationships with potential supplies. A results oriented professional , with strong business skills, focused on customer needs and strategic planning, these transferable skills help her identify clients needs to locate a home that truly suits their lifestyle. She specializes in Naples and Bonita Springs areas and has obtained her ABR and CIPs real estate designations. Amanda currently serves on the Global committee at Nabor and RPAC.
Amanda is a pleasure to work with and demonstrates a genuine air of calm. On her off-time you might find Amanda and Bill at “Doggy-Beach” with their chocolate Labradors, Mole’ and Velvet. She enjoys tennis, travel and fine dining. Her interests include art, design, music and the conservation of wildlife. Her love for animals identifies her as a very “pet-friendly” Realtor.
